OEM Integration at Sound Evo

Thursday, September 18, 2014 10:41:29 AM America/Los_Angeles

Most of today’s modern vehicles have built in stereo systems that in most cases cannot be replaced by aftermarket double or single din systems. A lot of manufacturers have their own custom set up which, to be fair, are quite good. However, as a car stereo enthusiast or someone who loves listening to music that is rich in sound, the base factory units are in most cases simply not good enough. This is where OEM integration comes in, which basically is integration of products that are gateways between your factory installed head unit and your high-end performance aftermarket amplifiers and speaker systems.

Installation of OEM integration modules is not a task that most people would want to tackle. There are several pitfalls to get it wrong, and it could even be dangerous. The last thing you would want is for your pride and joy to go up in flames just because you wired up the car entertainment system the wrong way.

The second reason you shouldn’t do it yourself is because there are other people who are more qualified to do it for you. Why risk ruining your stereo system when you’ll only have to shell a few pounds to have a professional do it for you? Not only will you be supporting small to medium businesses like these car audio shops, you also be getting full support and guarantee for all work carried out; and this will give you peace of mind, which is priceless.

When looking to improve your built-in stereo system, look for car shops that specialize in car audio systems. Yes, most, if not all of them, have a basic knowledge of the ins and outs of audio wiring, but your money and time are better spent on a shop manned by people who really know what they’re doing. If you just want to improve on the current audio set up like amplifying the volume or enhancing the bass sound, then give us a call on 01923510262 for a free consultation forOEM integrationInstall.

DIY Car Window Tinting

Thursday, September 18, 2014 10:37:50 AM America/Los_Angeles

DIY Car Window Tinting - Are The Results Worth The Effort?  No customized car ever feels truly complete without tinted windows, and this is something car customizers and detailers have been doing for a long time now too. When it comes to tinting the windows on your car you have two basic choices:  1. Let the professionals handle the work 2. Do the tinting yourself with a DIY car tinting kit Now although we have to admit that these DIY kits have come a long way over the years we feel it's important that you know that just because these kits exist doesn't mean you should use one. Even more to the point is that just because somebody sells you a DIY tinting kit doesn't mean you're going to get the same results you see advertised on the packaging. In fact it can usually wind up being the exact opposite in many cases.  We've been providing our customers with a professional window tinting service for several years now, so we know what works and what doesn't. What we want to take a look at here are the disadvantages of trying to tint your car windows yourself:  Window Damage This is what we see most often when a car enthusiast tries to tint his or her windows - they actually wind up damaging the windows in the process. The tinting kits make the process sound very straightforward, but it's only when you've gotten started that you see how quickly things can and do go wrong. Replacing several car windows or an entire windscreen, because you scratched it while you were trying to apply the tint is going to cost you a whole lot more than our professional tinting service would have in the first place.  Poor Results Even with the very best DIY tinting kits on the market there's a really good chance you'll wind up with bubbling or rippling once the tint sheets have been applied. It literally only takes one false move (or forgetting that you can't wind down your window) to leave you with a ruined tint, and potentially a ruined window too. It's the exception rather than the rule when we see a customized motor with a really good DIY tinting job done on it.   Not That Cheap We're always amazed at how often people decided to buy a tinting kit without even asking us for a quote first. What's even worse (for them) is that when they bring their car to us to repair the damage they've done they can't believe how competitive our prices are.   Not Permanent Unlike a professional tinting job, which can last a lifetime, you're going to wind up replacing any DIY tint at least every 12-months or so. This means you're looking at an ongoing expense to get sub-par results for that car you've invested so much time, money and love in. That doesn't really make any kind of sense does it?  The day might come when DIY car tinting kits offer truly professional results but that day is a long way into the future.   In the meantime if you want your windows tinted by Sound EVO, one of the best people in the business, we'd be more than glad to provide you with a very competitive quote. We Have over the year had hundreds of satisfied customer many of them own high en prestige cars Like Bentley and Porches etc. , so you can be sure that your car is in the hands of professionals .
